For the avid long distance walker who is looking for the extra distance and the ultra adventure, welcome to the Lakes to Wall Trail, encompassing the very best of The Lake District National Park and Northumberland National Park.
Venture through the heart of the Lake District, an UNESCO World Heritage Site and then on to Hadrian's Wall, another UNESCO Heritage Site.
Walk the Cumbria Way from Ulverston in the South and then East from Carlisle to Newcastle along Hadrian's Wall Path (A National Trail)
If you are fit and up to the challenge the trail can be comfortably walked between 10 -14 days.
Access couldn't be easier from London and the rest of the UK.. Ulverston can be accessed by train up the West Coast Main Line via Lancaster and Newcastle is on the East Coast Main Line.
