What’s the weather like on the fells?

Its incredibly important to know the weather forecast each day, before you set out onto the Lakeland Fells. Planned routes and walk timings should be adjusted based on the local conditions.
The impact of low cloud, driving rain, snow, high winds, and rivers and streams being in spate, need to be considered before setting off.
Oh yeah….the sun does shine some days. Relish these moments!
